Netizens pretending to be her and scamming people have always been a concern of Paige Spiranac. Despite being the most popular female golf entity in the world, her name gets misused because of fake online profiles. Although it used to devastate the ex-pro golfer, she has recently taken it as a duty to acknowledge such issues through her social media.
Because of her immense growth as an internet icon, people trying to scam her followers have been increasing day by day. Even yesterday, according to Spiranac’s recent Twitter post, someone came onto her for scamming them.
The amount of fake accounts pretending to be me is next level and apparently pretty convincing because I told this man from my verified account he’s not talking to me and he didn’t believe real me lol

Hundreds of her fans started responding as soon as she posted this on Twitter. And the responses were nothing but positive in nature. None of them blamed the Colorado native, instead, they raised questions about the scammers and the people who fall into these traps.
An overwhelmed Paige Spiranac thanked her followers for supporting her
Notably, Spiranac has had past experiences of people going against her after scammers loot money from them. Some even have sent her death threats. Hence, she always takes extra measures when it comes to online identity thefts and people falling for them.
These fake accounts so infuriating.

You're not wrong! I have a ton following me. Lol

Nonetheless, the supportive messages from her followers made Paige Spiranac overwhelmed. Only hours later, they forced her to post another tweet, acknowledging their support.
“Feeling sentimental tonight. I want to thank you for all the support and for following my life on social media,” her second tweet read. You let me be unapologetically myself. This is the most confident and happiest I’ve ever been. I love sharing this journey with you (even the haters lol).”
Fans’ reaction to the social media icon’s follow-up tweet
Spiranac might have started posting more content on her OnlyPaige website since the start of January. However, that doesn’t mean she lost the loyalty of the millions of followers she amassed in the last five years or so.
They did support her when she posted about the person accusing her of getting scammed. And when she posted the second tweet, thanking all for their support, they still stayed positive for her.
Keep being you! Never let the haters deter you from being yourself!
You're strong! Keep at it!
