With so much adversity in a short span, the social media sensation was still unprepared to face the trolls and bullying of the internet. In the recent episode of her podcast Playing A Round With Paige Renee, Spiranac shares how the quick fame took a toll on her mental being.

During the 40-minute-long episode, Spiranac answered all the questions asked by her fans. She discussed her struggles during her teenage years, revealed her height, and much more. Nonetheless, the social media star, who has always been an advocate of cyberbullying, was asked about her lack of mental health videos in recent years.

Instead of answering the query, Spiranac reveals the challenges she faced during the early days of her internet fame. “I wasn’t equipped to handle life online, and life in the public eye”, claimed the social media sensation. “I had no idea what to expect”. The 29-year-old added how the sudden fame brought in so much unwanted hate which eventually had a negative impact on her mentally.

Paige Spiranac said, “It was really challenging to live a normal life and then instantly overnight, have hundreds of 1000s of people have a negative opinion about you. And it took a toll on me mentally”. Though she may have endured troubles at the beginning of her social media career, her strong mental warfare helped her fight the critics and reach the pinnacle of golf’s social media space.

Now, Spirnaac uses herself as an example of fighting online bullies who constantly criticize her. As her social media empire grows further, it is quite evident that the number of haters may also increase. But deeming to the former pro golfer’s elite mentality, she can shut down all the bullies by herself.
