But it seems like Mcllroy has no faith in Norman. In an interview when he was asked about his opinion on the new change LIV Golf management, he replied that he doesn’t believe that Norman has an efficient team to run the organization. “I mean, if the chief executive doesn’t have an executive team,” he said. Furthermore, he believes it is a weakness. “I don’t know how strong that is.”

Mcllroy thinks operating the organization is like running a silo and one person cannot do all the work. “I mean, he can’t do it himself. He needs to rely on a team just like all of us rely on teams, right, to do things,” he added. “You know, sort of operating in a silo, it starts to get pretty difficult.”

Norman to remain as CEO of LIV Golf

‘The great white shark’ is choosing to ignore the remarks from Mcllroy about his leadership abilities. He is determined to stay as the CEO of LIV Golf. He says that he pays absolutely no thought to these comments, and that he is committed to LIV.

There are lawsuits going on between the PGA and LIV Golf. Mcllroy believes that Norman is not the person who can conduct the negotiations. He believes that Norman is not interested in mending fences and therefore he needs to go.
