John Daly has been a constant menace for the PGA Tour. A two-time winner with undeniably incredible golf talents, authorities have fined him thousands of euros for not adhering to the rules. “… don’t think I have the record. I was talking with Tiger recently. I wanna say I’m up around $180,000 to $200,000, but he said I have a long way to go to catch him,” Daly said.

Woods has been at the wrong end of the news multiple times, more so after his distressing personal life became public. He has also paid multiple fines while on the wheel, some of them ending up in near-fatal crashes.

John Daly also mentioned how Tiger Woods‘ fame had a demeaning effect.

“Tiger gets fined for swearing on TV, but he’s got a microphone in his face every shot. A lot of guys are using the same language, but they’re not on TV,” Daly revealed.

Owing to the golfer’s popularity around the world, TV broadcasters tend to turn all their attention towards him when he enters the course. As Daly stated, Woods has a microphone attached to his attire to record every syllable he utters, which is often an expletive after a bad shot.

However, Woods is working his way back to being the golden boy he was once considered to be. While his game might never be the same after his car crash incident, his love for the game has been evident in his stand for the PGA Tour against the Saudi-backed LIV golf series.
