Sophia Howard meets the Korda sisters
First meets are memorable, especially when it is someone who inspires you to be a better version of yourself. The same happened with Sophia Howard, who admired the Korda sisters ever since she was young.
According to the 15-year-old golfer, she started to truly admire to Korda power duo when she watched them play on the LPGA tour through her TV with her dad next to her. Sophie detailed how she was truly impressed by their game.
She said, “Jessica was up and she made a sweet chip from probably like 100 yards and I was like, ‘Holy cow, that was phenomenal.’”
Although that was not all, the older Korda sibling was not the only Korda she admired. Howard also was equally impressed with Nelly’s play.

She added, “They switched to Nelly (Korda) and I was like, ‘Holy cow, these girls are good.’ I just fell in love with those girls’ personalities and the way they play the game of golf.”
Howard’s dreams actually turned into reality when her dream came true the day she got an opportunity to meet the Korda duo. Sophie is herself a skilled golfer. She was born without a right hand. However, she does not let that get in the way of being the best version of herself.
Jessica Korda explained their meet cute by saying that they got contacted by the Dream On 3 Foundation which helps children living with life-altering conditions fulfill their wishes.
Nelly Korda and Jessica Korda are each other’s pillars of strength
For a long time, this dynamic duo has been each other’s pillar of strength. They have supported each other through thick and thin. It is as if they have assumed the role of each other’s ray of light on a dark night.

Golfers usually move quickly from one place to another. The game seasons are usually packed with the constant need of having to move. This state of flux can lead to feelings of loneliness. Fortunately for the Korda sisters, they can lean on each other’s shoulders. Their bond is still as strong as it ever was.
