‘How Dare You Presume I Want to See Your Naked Body! Are You So Ego Deprived?’: A Publicity Stunt by Greg Norman That Once Went Wrong

Greg Norman, the former no. 1, is not just a retired golfer but also an Australian entrepreneur. Norman known as the ‘Great White Shark’ in 2018 had been in news for something which was presumed to be a publicity stunt by him. The former No. 1 golfer, Greg Norman, 63, did a naked photoshoot for ESPN’s Body Issue magazine.

John Mango, 61, had some serious and harsh opinions regarding the nudity stunt that was pulled by the 63 year old Australian golfer. Norman was slammed by the Australian news presenter on his program aired on Saturdays. The Today Extra star during a segment told Greg Norman, “How dare you presume I want to see your naked body! Are you so ego deprived?”

Australian news presenter was all humorous before getting all serious about what displeased him the most about Norman’s naked shoot. John Mango said, “No doubt he has a great body. He works out two hours a day… Are you so attention deficit deprived – I mean, really? Do you really want us to look at you that bad?  He further said, “You have a $75 million house, plenty of money, nice people around you. Go quietly.”

The Australian news presenter showed his complete disregard over John’s exhibitionist and star craved attention seeking stunt of nudity. To neutralize the upfront and harsh comments of  the veteran journalist, co-host Allison Langdon, joked about him being jealous to not set John off.

In 2017, the former no. 1 received a lot of backlashe for sharing his naked photo around a river in Colorado. To tackle the backlashes, Norman wrote of Instagram, ” There’s always one per cent, or a few people, who disapprove.” Norman told the ESPN, “I walk around naked at home. It’s not a big deal to me, right?” Many of you may agree with Greg when he says. “At the end of the day, I do enjoy keeping fit at my age.”
