For the unversed, teenager Anna Davis became the youngest winner of the Augusta National Women’s Amateur (ANWA) last year, which sky-rocketed her status in the golf community. Due to her age and amateur status, the 16-year-old has become the first golfer to return to the circuit to defend her title.

While the ritual is a holy one for traditionalists, the new wave of golfers doesn’t seem bothered by it. When asked about the dinner, Davis didn’t mince words to reveal her displeasure about one of the ceremony’s favorite food dishes.

“I know the pimento cheese thing is like a really big thing, but I just can’t get over how gross it is,” she surprisingly said. A statement like that would have made headlines if spoken by a professional player.

What is the menu for this year’s Masters Champions Dinner?

This year’s Masters Champions Dinner will be hosted by defending champion, Scottie Scheffler. The World No. 1 had a breakthrough season last year, with as many as four titles in a six-game period. One of those victories included the Masters Tournament, which was the golfer’s first major championship victory.

But merely weeks ago, Scheffler had confessed to not giving a thought to his Champions dinner menu. The 26-year-old had stated that he and his wife would go through the dinner recipes, which they have eventually figured out.

Scheffler’s menu for the auspicious event includes Cheeseburger sliders, Texas Ribeye steak, jalapeno creamed corn, and warm chocolate chip skillet cookie, among others. It will take place on the Tuesday of the tournament week, on 4th April.
