How John Daly Has Changed the Lives of Over 10,000 Kids For More Than 3 Decades

John Daly’s personal life has always been in the headlines, all thanks to his vibrant clothing, his bold choices, and his infamous notorious character.

Daly has done his share of good when he co-founded The Heart of a Lion Foundation, with Major Ed Pulido. The purpose of the foundation is to help support children, first responders, and veterans.

There is so much more to Daly; he might be the bad boy of golf, but he has a heart of gold, and this recent Instagram post is a testament to that.

A testimonial about Daly’s noble work towards humanity

America’s underdog has always believed in living life, big size. There have been times when the 57-year-old has even lost his calm. But, the golfer has done a lot of good work with his nonprofit organization.

The testament posted on the official Instagram page @heartoflionfoundation, was an ode to the 32nd Annual John Daly Golf Classic event organized to raise money. The video showed how the NPO and Boys & Girls Clubs of the Arkansas River Valley are dedicating their cause together for the kids.

A lady in the video praised Daly and his work highly, “Thanks to John and his ongoing support for the years. We are able to provide programming to over 10,000 kids. They are really doing what Heart of the Lion really is. We are family forever, providing opportunities for kids that change their lives that they would not have otherwise.”  

 

The video had glimpses of people enjoying, having a nice time, and coming together for a good cause. The golf underdog has been engaged in a lot more social work throughout the years, and he has been one to always give to the community.

A glimpse of Daly’s philanthropic work 

The veteran golfer has engaged in a lot of philanthropic work because of his Heart of a Lion Foundation. He has shown a lot of generosity with his individual donations as well. The golfer has showcased charitable gestures of the likes of donating $30,000 to a scholarship fund for the daughter of Thomas Weaver, who died in a lightning incident. He also once donated $1,000 in cash to two children raising money at the Regions Tradition.

This goes to show that he is more than just a fun-loving golfer. He cares for the people around him and aims to do a lot more good for his community in the future.
