Ever since LIV Golf allegedly ‘snatched’ away numerous talented PGA Tour players, things have never been the same in the golf world. And they have not only changed for the fans or the league, but also for professional golfers. And Brooks Koepka was certainly one of the most affected people after how the fans reacted to his move to LIV Golf. But in a recent interaction, the player sounded a lot different and much more confident than he was a few days ago. In fact, he admitted that nothing that the golf fans think or say about him would matter to him now.

In an episode of the Netflix docu-series Full Swing, the mentally fragile golfer said things like,“I can’t compete with these guys week in and week out.” And that made his vulnerability very clear in front of all his fans. On the other hand, he has also made confident statements about his game. In fact, right before the LIV Golf Tucson event, Koepka said, “I feel like my game is right where I need to be. I’m very happy.”

However, his lost confidence was the talk of the town for a long time. But thankfully, the golfer now seems to have regained himself in the golf world. And his response to how people would react to watching his docu-series episode showed a new side of the player overall. A reporter asked Kopeka how he would react if fans, who saw him in Full Swing, would conclude his reason for joining LIV Golf as his inefficiency in competing against the world’s best players on the PGA Tour.

And here’s what Koepka said: “I don’t care. They can think whatever they want to think.” Well, it definitely looks like the man is back and ready to rock the field once again.

Nevertheless, after spending 47 weeks at the top of the OWGR leaderboard, Koepka needs to be aware of his talents.

Not to forget, another reason why he was not in his best mental state was his deteriorated health. His recent performances have not been very impressive as he finished T-27th at LIV’s Mexico opener. But hopefully, his current positive mindset shows a ray of hope for the player to get back to his best form.
