She previously graduated from Artesis Plantijn Hogeschool Antwerpen with a bachelor’s degree in marketing. In July of 2020, she gave birth to Florence, the couple’s first child so far. In August 2020, the golfer captioned a photo of their gorgeous daughter on Instagram, writing, “Our little ice cream girl has flooded our hearts with love and happiness, Florence Pieters.” On November 18, 2022, Stephanie gave birth to their second daughter, according to Pieters’ Instagram. The golfer wrote, “Our little miss sunshine June 💛18.11.2022.” 

Pieters has been transparent about the difficulties he faces between his obligations to his family and his professional golf career. Hence, finding a work-life balance was important for him.

Why did Pieters move to LIV Golf?

“I’ve struggled playing 26 events a year, to be honest. As a father, it suits me to have a lighter schedule. I have never wanted to play full-time on the PGA Tour because I don’t think you can do that and live where I want,” he revealed. A healthier balance between his golfing commitments and his personal life was the driving force behind his choice to join LIV Golf.

In 2023, the whole family was seen together at the Masters. Pieters’s lack of assurance about his participation in major competitions after signing with LIV Golf was the main factor in his choice to bring his whole family to Augusta National. He conceded, “Of course, with the two young children it is all attractive,” recognizing the allure of LIV Golf’s more relaxed schedule.

Pieters’ devotion to his family and his pursuit of golfing greatness continue to be apparent as he manages his personal and professional lives. Thomas Pieters hopes to strike the correct balance and succeed on and off the course with the help of his partner Stefanie van Steen and their two kids.
