Furthermore, Feherty hasn’t replied to the message as well. Therefore, it is not sure when the former golfer will join the league in its third event at the Bedminster-based golf club.

David Feherty, professional career

Although he is currently working as a golf analyst, David Feherty used to have a successful professional golfing career. After turning professional in 1976, the golfer spent most of his career playing on the DP World Tour, formerly known as European Tour, where he had won 5 titles.

Feherty has also played on the PGA Tour; however, he has never won a title. Notably, he was the captain of the victorious Alfred Dunhill Cup team in 1990. He had also represented Team Europe in the 1991 Ryder Cup.

After retiring in 1997, the Northern Ireland native started working as an on-course reporter and golf analyst. The 63-year-old has worked with CBC for more than two decades before joining NBC. Feherty started working as a golf analyst for NBC’s Golf Channel for the past seven years. He had his own prime-time talk show called Feherty on the Golf Channel, which premiered on Jun 21, 2011.

He is also a contributor to Golf Magazine and has his own column in the magazine called Sidespin. Moreover, Feherty is the New York Times and Booksense best-selling author of four books, including ‘David Feherty’s Totally Subjective History of the Ryder Cup.’
