People often turn to doing good for society when they get wealthy. While many athletes have charitable foundations and organizations, Arnold Palmer stands a step above them. The golfer was well known for his kind heart and generosity. In Orlando, he has a hospital set up specifically for children to receive world-class care. But that isn’t where his big heart ends. The golf legend once even went out of his way to make sure all the kids in the hospital felt the spirit of Christmas.
Palmer is one of the best golfers to ever play the sport. During his time on the PGA Tour, he won 62 events, including seven major championships. The golfer passed away in 2016, leaving many heartbroken. But his generous spirit continues to live on through his acts.
