‘Love You’: Phil Mickelson Goes Viral as Lefty’s ‘Awesome’ Moment With Dad Invites Heartwarming Reactions From the Golf Community

Phil Mickelson is arguably one of the most prominent players in the sport. He skipped the 2022 Masters and left PGA Tour for LIV in 2022. But, in 2023, six-time major winner and three-time Masters champion Mickelson tied for a second position along with Brooks Koepka at the 87th Masters at Augusta National last Sunday. This made him the oldest runner-up in tournament history. Recently, the golf veteran posted a video of him playing golf with a special family member and fans loved it.

Lefty Mickelson showed his vintage golf skills to the fans and fellow professionals at the 2023 Masters. His performance came as a beautiful shock to his fellow professionals given his previous performance since he joined LIV Golf.

Mickelson posted a video of playing golf with his father on his Instagram, and captioned it, “Chipping contests, playing golf with my dad are still some of my favorite moments in the game.” Mickelson reflected on some of the dearest moments he has had in the game and those moments are him playing golf with his father. 

In the video, we can see Mickelson’s father taking shots and Mickelson doing hysterical commentary in the background.
