The ruined birthday gift saddened Georgia Hall and Charley Hull

Hall and Hull have been fierce competitors, but they never let the sport ruin their friendship. However, the birthday gift is completely ruined. The 27-year-old golfer was born on March 20, 1996. She received a white pair of Nike shoes from her friend Hall on her birthday. But it got ruined with a big dark yellow spot on it. Hall posted the story on her Instagram, where Hull is showing the spot that ruined the shoes. She was “devastated” because they were her “favorite pair of shoes.”

The 2018 Women’s British Open winner tagged Hull in the story and wrote, “don’t think I can take them back,” followed by a laughing emoji. Hull can also be heard saying, “Birthday present. Already ruined them.” The disappointment was visible on the face; however, the ladies managed to give it a funny turn. They kept laughing, but at the same time, the precious shoes were ruined.

According to HSBC News, friendly competition between Charley Hull and Georgia Hall appears to be a major factor in their advancement in the world rankings. Hull, who entered the professional ranks first, is currently ranked 28th after being 15th at this time last year. As for Hall, she has moved up to third place after a 12-month run in which she started from outside the top 100. Where Hull qualified for this exclusive field on merit, Hall just missed out.
