How did Nelly Korda respond? “Wow you made my Friday. They look fabulous,” wrote the former World No. 1 after sharing the story. The 24-year-old’s latest outing came at the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship, where she shockingly missed the cut. Meanwhile, Jessica Korda had last appeared in the Founders Cup, a tournament she withdrew from due to her back problems.

Last Sunday, golf fans were in for a huge shock as Nelly Korda failed to stay within the cutline at Baltusrol for the Women’s PGA Championship. Returning to action after her injury-related struggles, this was Korda’s second consecutive missed cut following a streak of eight top-10 finishes in nine starts.

The World No. 2 will definitely be vying to turn things around in the fast-approaching US Women’s Open. Korda’s last and only major win came two years ago, in 2021.

As for Jessica Korda, she will not be appearing in the year’s third major. Back in May, she had withdrawn from the Cognizant Founders Cup just ten holes into Round 2. Following her abrupt exit, the 6-time LPGA winner took to Instagram to share that her back injury had been plaguing her for a while. “At this point, we don’t have a firm timeline for my return, but I’m working with the best of the best and am focused on coming back as soon as possible,” she confessed.
