A quick trip through Nelly and Jessica Korda’s social media feeds makes it apparent that the two are not just sisters but also each other’s best friends. “To be able to have my little sister, [my] best friend, with me, it’s so, so cool,” Jessica had confessed when her younger sister made her first-ever appearance at the Evian Championship in 2017.

How did Nelly Korda respond? “Wow you made my Friday. They look fabulous,” wrote the former World No. 1 after sharing the story. The 24-year-old’s latest outing came at the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship, where she shockingly missed the cut. Meanwhile, Jessica Korda had last appeared in the Founders Cup, a tournament she withdrew from due to her back problems.

As for Jessica Korda, she will not be appearing in the year’s third major. Back in May, she had withdrawn from the Cognizant Founders Cup just ten holes into Round 2. Following her abrupt exit, the 6-time LPGA winner took to Instagram to share that her back injury had been plaguing her for a while. “At this point, we don’t have a firm timeline for my return, but I’m working with the best of the best and am focused on coming back as soon as possible,” she confessed.
