It was not the first time when the foundation had granted a kid’s sports-related wish. Even the players do it. A few years back, Izzy, diagnosed with leukemia at age 3, was also presented with a hot pink golf cart. She loved being outdoors, but chemotherapy exhausted her from playing outside. Therefore, the foundation thought a golf cart would be perfect for her to enjoy the outdoors.

Make-A-Wish granted request of another teen in 2019

The foundation did a noble cause in 2019. A 15-year-old teen named Zion was suffering from a debilitating disease. He wished for a customized golf cart, and Make-A-Wish Southern Florida made it happen. The teenager’s condition did not allow him to go outside and have fun with his friends. He was on cloud nine when he first saw his golf cart. Zion said, “It’s everything I wanted. I really wanted a golf cart.” Even his mother was stoked to see his son being able to go out and enjoy life outside the four walls of his home.
