After rough patches in his life followed by a near-fatal accident, stars finally seem to be aligned for the former no.1 Tiger Woods. He met with an accident in February 2021 and returned 14 months later to play at the Augusta International this year. The 15 times major championship winner has recently won the PGA’s PIP award, and his fans couldn’t be happier. Fans were not even done celebrating when another news about Woods hit the internet.

Dan Rapaport, the golf fanatic at Sports Stool Bar, tweeted great news about the G.O.A.T., and the comments swarmed the internet. He tweeted, “As @dougferguson405 wrote today, I’ve heard from multiple sources that Tiger Woods will play the Hero World Challenge in the Bahamas.” Fans could not wait to swamp the comment section.

Not just that, but the golf guy added the names of the other players. He wrote, “Woods will play The Match with Rory, JT, and Spieth the week after. And possibly PNC, too. Could be seeing a lot of Tiger on our TV in December.” The news overwhelmed fans of the 15 major championship winners. It felt like music to their ears.

Further update about the Hero World Challenge
Tiger Woods, the 2022 Hero World Challenge host, announced the field on 4th November. It will return to Albany, Bahamas, from November 28 to December 4. The championship will feature defending champion Viktor Hovland. Seven major winners, who have won 11 major titles, will also be part of the championship.

16 PGA TOUR winners are set to compete in Albany. On top of that, five players will make their tournament debuts. The first-timers at Albany will be Will Zalatoris, Cameron Young, Sungjae Im, Max Homa, and Tom Kim. There will be three tournament exemptions, which will be announced in the coming days.
