Having turned pro more than a decade ago, the eldest Korda sibling, Jessica Korda, has built quite a reputation for herself. With six wins on the LPGA Tour, the 30-year-old has amassed quite a few fans. And recently, she had some strong words of caution for them. The reason behind it lay in an issue plaguing many in the golf world, including Paige Spiranac, who just last month had to counsel her fans about it. So, let’s dive into what exactly this significant issue is that has these golf beauties on edge!

Jessica Korda sternly warns the fans

Taking to her Instagram, Korda posted a story in an attempt to alert all her fans. The 6-time LPGA Tour winner was frustrated with the online scams. “This is getting insane… Recently, I’ve been getting a lot of messages about other accounts that have my name or my sisters name on it,” she wrote. “I don’t know how many more times I need to say this. This is my only account.”

She explained to her fans that both she and her sister, Nelly Korda, have just one account each. And that wouldn’t change! “I will never ever make an account that has the words “private” or anything else on it,” she stated. “This is my one and only account and it will be my one and only account.”

Korda was upset that her fans were being conned. And she wanted nothing more than to help them. Warning them about her and Nelly’s accounts was the small way in which she was trying to help. “Please please please stop falling for the scams,” she wrote, imploring her followers to be more careful online.

Earlier last month, the queen of golf took to Twitter to educate golf fans about such fake account scams. Giving them simple warning signs, like checking for verification, and convincing them that she would never ask to talk to them on any other social media, or ask them for any gift cards or monetary benefits.

Spiranac further chimed in, saying she would never converse with her fans, calling them “honey,” “dear,” or any such words of endearment. She added firmly, “Remember, just report and block if it’s not from my verified account.” Like always, the social media icon wanted what was best for her fans, and the information most certainly would have helped a few!
