Despite it being a normal event on the PGA Tour circuit, something is quite different about the 2022 Farmers Insurance Open. The standard tournaments commence with the first round on a Thursday and conclude with the final round on a Sunday.

But this isn’t the case this week. The event begins on a Wednesday that is January 26th and the final round will conclude on Saturday,  29th January. But what is the reason?
