For many people, golf can be hard. This even includes former professional golfer Paige Spiranac. The golfer-turned-social media star has been all over social media, thanks to her mass following. Nonetheless, she revealed recently how the nervousness of playing golf led to her adopting the social media life.

Spiranac is golf’s biggest social media entity. However, long before claiming the throne, she was still attempting to make it to the LGPA Tour. Unfortunately for her, things didn’t work out as a series of bad results led to her quitting professional golf.
Later, Paige Spiranac embraced the social media lifestyle, and since then, has been untouchable at it. In the latest episode of her podcast, Spiranac revealed the nerve-wracking situations she fell into while playing golf, which eventually led to her retirement.
Paige Spiranac was too nervous about playing professional golf
In the new episode ‘Wasp Stings‘, Spiranac spoke on several topics such as being homeschooled and also on the effectiveness of her therapy sessions. She then shared about a pressurizing incident that led to an awkward moment.

The 29-year-old said, “I set it on 19 all day long and hit a shot on the par three for every group that came through. And that’s always stressful, because you’re sitting there and you’re waiting for the group and you have one shot, and they’re expecting you to hit a good shot”. Spiranac then revealed how the whole situation made her feel so anxious.
She added, “I was so nervous, my hands were shaking, and I just like dead pulled in the water. And I was like, sorry. Like, what are you gonna do, you know, like, Oh, like this way I don’t play anymore”. The 2022 ‘Sexiest Woman Alive’ then trolled herself for adopting the social media life over pro golfer with a humorous joke.
Spiranac said, “So I take my clothes off on Instagram, get paid that way because I can’t can’t hack it as a golfer. Yeah, but it’s always nerve-wracking”. Though the 29-year-old failed to pursue a successful career in professional golf, destiny had something for her. Now with millions of followers across all social media platforms, Spiranac is the biggest social media entity of golf.
