Rumors are swirling around that Tiger Woods might choose his next apparel partner. Thе spеculation startеd whеn TWLEGION, with a tweet, hintеd at a possiblе partnеrship bеtwееn Woods and TravisMathеwThе twееt included a vidеo that showеd an advеrtisеmеnt cum tеasеr by the brand. What got the attention is thе caption that rеads “a nеw momеnt is coming” implying that a big announcеmеnt is on thе way.

The Californian brand is known for its casual and cool clothing, which is owned by Topgolf Callaway Brands. Founded in 2007, the label boasts a roster of influential figures, such as Jon Rahm, who has been donning the brand since 2018, and Joel Dahmen.

It has extended beyond the fairways as it has attracted other notable names from the sports world and Hollywood. Actor Chris Pratt is among the distinguished members of Travis Mathew’s ambassador lineup, and Tiger Woods will probably be the next notable name to join the brand.

The rumor gained more credibility when Woods himself was seen carrying TravisMathew clothes in a car park while wearing his white Nikе shirt. He was seen holding clothes in his hand and walking toward his car.

When the camera zoomed in on the clothes, it revealed that the 5x Masters winner was carrying the TravisMathew logo. This suggests that Woods is already in talks with the Ryan Ellis-led company or perhaps has already signed a deal with them.

If the rumor turns out to be true, it will be a huge coup for TravisMathеw, as it would mean snubbing TaylorMade, who was widely expected to be Woods’s next-apparel partner. But the question is, which of these established brands would be a better fit for the GOAT?

Which of the two would be a better choice for Woods?

After Nike stopped producing golf equipment in 2016, the 82x PGA Tour winner joined hands with TaylorMade family. The golf legend may consider them as they know Woods’s taste and can design the clothes as per his unique style. As we all know, he has specific preferences for his golf tee, and the TaylorMade employee admitted, “We’re making short tees for Woods to suit his game,” hence, they will work as per his taste. While he has been using TaylorMade clubs, he might just choose them for apparel too.
