To get inducted into the World Golf Hall of fame is a dream for every golfer. And Tiger Woods will receive the prestigious honor in the male competitor category.

Tiger Woods, the greatest golfer of all time, has won 106 championship titles. He is still the youngest ever to claim the Grand Slam of golf. The 15-time Major winner is the only player to hold all four majors at the same time. Woods is also the first African or Asian heritage golfer to win a major.

Who else receives the Hall of Fame honor other than Tiger Woods?
Along with Woods, three others will be inducted into the Hall of Fame this year; Late Marion Hollins, Susie Maxwell Berning, and Tim Finchem.

Tim Finchem is the former PGA Tour commissioner. He will be the 10th administrator to get inducted into the Hall of Fame. Along with Marion Hollins, he was elected through the contributor category. Hollins was the chairman of a committee to establish a golf club for women about 100 years ago.

Susie Maxwell Berning will also receive the Hall of Fame honor in the female competitor category. The 80-year-old golfer has won 11 professional championships, including four majors. OCU Sports, Nevada Sports, and National Golf Coaches Association had already honored her with the Hall of Fame.

Furthermore, the event has introduced two more awards. Peter Ueberroth and the late Dick Ferris will receive the inaugural lifetime achievement honors. Meanwhile, Renee Powell will receive the inaugural Charlie Sifford Award for her spirit in advancing diversity in golf.
The venue, Time, Host, and more…
NBC and Golf Channel analyst David Feherty will host the Hall of Fame event. Golf Channel will live telecast the program at 7 pm ET on March 9. As usual, the PGA Tour’s ‘Global Home’ headquarters in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, will host the event.

It has been almost two years since the Hall of Fame recipients were announced. However, the ceremony got postponed due to the global pandemic. Considering the recipients of the honor, it is worth the wait.
