Fans like to call Phil Mickelson a legend. Mickelson has built a very strong and supportive fanbase in his career span of over 20 years. But, ever since the 52-year-old joined LIV, his performance has somewhat deteriorated but now he is back with a bang. In his recent Instagram post, Mickelson shared his words of wisdom about emerging victorious. Read to find out more about it.
Phil Mickelson’s words of motivation
Phil Mickelson has been going through a dry spell. He has been giving average performance since he joined LIV Golf back in 2022. But he has been back on track by giving noteworthy performances in the 87th Masters and Adelaide.

Lefty finished at number 2 along with Brooks Koepka at Augusta during the Masters. His finish in 2nd position made him the oldest player to finish as a runner-up. His performance at the recent LIV event in Adelaide, Australia has been amazing and fans have loved him. Mickelson achieved his second-best result in his LIV Golf career, with a 16th-place finish, which is only surpassed by his eighth-place finish in Chicago in the previous year.

Posting some pictures from the Adelaide, Mickelson quoted, “Winning is a process and this week and The Masters were two big steps in the right direction.” Lefty is definitely going in the right direction and we absolutely cannot wait to see the magic he will bring on the green in Singapore at Sentosa next week.
This goes to show that Mickelson is hustling hard to be on the winning track again since his last notable win came back in 2021.
The last notable victories of Phil Mickelson
Mickelson’s last notable victory came back in 2021 when he won his PGA Championship and two events at the PGA Champions Tour. Winning the PGA Championship in 2021 made Mickelson the oldest major winner ever. He emerged victorious in the major tournament for the first time since 2013 and cemented himself as one of the best golfers of all time.

“I mean this is just an incredible feeling because I just believed it was possible, but yet everything was saying it wasn’t,” Mickelson said. “And I hope that others find that inspiration. It might take a little extra work, a little harder effort to maintain physically, or maintain the skills, but gosh is it worth it in the end,” commented Mickelson after setting the record as per The Athletic.
After winning the PGA Championship, Mickelson went ahead and won two events in the PGA Champions Tour. The first PGA Champions Tour event he won in 2021 was in October, Constellation Furyk and Friends. His second event that he won in November was Charles Schwab Cup Championship.
