Nearly every golf fan has already watched or looking to stream the PGA Tour’s behind-the-scenes documentary, ‘Full Swing’. While the Netflix docu-series has been the talk of the town, it did grab the attention of golf’s biggest social media star, Paige Spiranac, who invited Chadd Mumm, the producer of the documentary to her podcast. During the conversation, Mumm disclosed which golfer surprised him the most.

The Netflix documentary had been receiving positive reviews from fans even outside the sport of golf. Following the successful reception, Spiranac invited one of the producers of the show to her podcast, Playing A Round.
In the 35-minute-long episode, Mumm was asked for more insights about the golfers’ life. However, the producer was then cornered with a question by the former pro, asking him the golfer who surprised him the most.

Paige Spiranac asks the fan-favorite question
The ‘Full Swing’ documentary comprises all the big names in the PGA Tour. With the series consisting of so much talent and stories behind each individual, like any other golf fan, Spiranac was curious to know which player surprised the producer the most, who wasn’t as he expected him to be.

“Definitely Brooks Koepka”, replied Chadd Mumm. The second episode of the Netflix docu-series was solely dedicated to the recent struggles of the Koepka. Though the golfer is regarded as a strong player both mentally and physically, he did share his battles of mental warfare to get back to his old form. “It’s like a wrestling heel”, says the producer while referring to the golfer’s public persona.
However, Mumm further adds, “But he came in and sat down and was just so open and vulnerable about what he was going through, you know, injuries and his game and how much he wanted to be back there winning and how much that meant to him”. The producer also talked about how Brooks Koepka disclosed his sleepless nights thinking about an imaginary club in his hand.

After seeing Brooks’ up close, Chadd Mumm claims the experience was ‘shocking’ and ‘really, really compelling stuff’. Nonetheless, Koepka has moved to LIV Golf, to restart his once glittering career. Though Spiranac didn’t have much to respond to the producer, everyone who watched ‘Full Swing’ must have felt the same about Koepka.
