The Masters Tournament brought about much joy for fans and golfers alike. But the event also saw the return of one of the game’s greatest behind the mic. Having retired from his duty as a sports broadcaster, Englishman Sir Nick Faldo returned for commentary in the most-watched tournament of the year. With the Masters turning out to be a blockbuster, everyone has been anticipating Faldo to overturn his decision. But while there’s no news on that front, his Twitter engagement is still very much active, as seen with his latest quirky opinion.
Sir Nick Faldo lauds butterscotch in his latest tweet
Knighted in his home country for his contribution to the game, Sir Nick Faldo has a strong presence both on and off the field. At the ripe old age of 65, the six-time major championship winner is still an active person on social media and tweets his opinions regularly.

Recently, he took to Twitter to react to television host Jimmy Fallon’s take on the ‘butterscotch’ flavor. Despite its name, the latter expressed his confusion regarding the popular flavor. “It’s not butter, it’s not scotch- what the hell flavor is butterscotch?” Fallon asked his 10.9k followers.

Is Faldo returning to golf?
Back in June last year, Faldo made the announcement of his retirement from broadcasting after the end of the season. Yet, the three-time Green Jacket winner couldn’t hold himself back for a quick return to the studios for the Masters week, which left everyone celebrating.
But is his appearance for the rest of the tournaments confirmed? As seen by his comeback, the yesteryear golf great won’t return to a full-time gig anytime soon, but a few occasional appearances could become a norm.
