15 months. That’s how long it took the former world no. 1 golfer Greg Norman and tennis legend Chris Evert to get in and out of a marriage with each other. They were two of the most looked-upon players in their respective sports. Hence, their short-term affair surprised all their fans. What shocked everyone was how little time the golfer took to move on from his divorce from Evert and find love in another partner.

“Greg plans to marry Kirsten,” one of his friends told Woman’s Day, according to nowtolove.com.au. Notably, the representatives of the Great White Shark and the 18-time Grand Slam champion told the People about their split in October of 2009. And by October next year, Norman made plans to marry another woman.

“He began talking about marriage within six months of splitting with Chrissie [Evert],” his friends further told the publication. “And we all wouldn’t be surprised if it didn’t happen very soon,” he added.

Had Greg Norman been in a relationship with Kirsten while being married to the tennis legend? 

Usually, six months are not enough for anyone to decide to move on from getting a divorce. However, according to his close friends, the Shark did it. “He began talking about marriage within six months of splitting with Chrissie [Evert],” his friends further told the publication. “And we all wouldn’t be surprised if it didn’t happen very soon,” they added.

“Greg has been obsessed with his image all his life,” his friend further explained to the Woman’s Day publication, according to nowtolove.com. “And now that he has waited out a turbulent period… and the radar is clearing…” they added. “He (Norman) plans to propose to Kirsten.”

Notably, the website described Kirsten as the reason for his split from his first wife of 25 years, Laura Andrassy. And the golfer’s daughter was against her father marrying Kirsten for the same reason. Interestingly, the website also noted that the Woman’s Day revealed: “their friends expect them to soon solidify their love, a union almost two decades in the making.”

Is the Shark still married to Kirsten? 

Kirsten Kutner, according to firstsportz.com, is an interior designer. And the couple tied the knot in 2010 in a private wedding on Necker Island, owned by business magnate Richard Branson. Notably, the LIV Golf CEO recently shared a picture of them celebrating their 12th anniversary.

Notably, Chris Evert has yet to remarry since her divorce from Norman. However, the Shark didn’t find any difficulty in trusting another person and moving on with his life.
