15 months. That’s how long it took the former world no. 1 golfer Greg Norman and tennis legend Chris Evert to get in and out of a marriage with each other. They were two of the most looked-upon players in their respective sports. Hence, their short-term affair surprised all their fans. What shocked everyone was how little time the golfer took to move on from his divorce from Evert and find love in another partner.

“Greg plans to marry Kirsten,” one of his friends told Woman’s Day, according to nowtolove.com.au. Notably, the representatives of the Great White Shark and the 18-time Grand Slam champion told the People about their split in October of 2009. And by October next year, Norman made plans to marry another woman.

Had Greg Norman been in a relationship with Kirsten while being married to the tennis legend?

Usually, six months are not enough for anyone to decide to move on from getting a divorce. However, according to his close friends, the Shark did it. “He began talking about marriage within six months of splitting with Chrissie [Evert],” his friends further told the publication. “And we all wouldn’t be surprised if it didn’t happen very soon,” they added.

“Greg has been obsessed with his image all his life,” his friend further explained to the Woman’s Day publication, according to nowtolove.com. “And now that he has waited out a turbulent period… and the radar is clearing…” they added. “He (Norman) plans to propose to Kirsten.”
