John Daly retweeted the tweet from the official account of the Butterfield Bermuda Championship. He made a funny twist on the tournament’s location and wrote, “Headed to the mysterious Bermuda Triangle…start ya noise!”

Yes, it is time to make some noise because his fans have been waiting for him to return to his natural golf flare. The 25-year-long wait of his fans might get over now. In 1995, he won his last major championship at St Andrew’s, and now, another ample opportunity is waiting for the Claret Jug winner.

In the early 1990s, the PGA Tour member used to be a danger for all the golfers in big tournaments since he won PGA Championship in 1991. His ex-wife was in labor, and he could have almost not played in the match. But he drove all night to be at the game and won it with three strokes, making him the champion. His dedication was a threat to golfers at that time.

Is this the big comeback?

There were many reasons for Daly to lose his spark, honing him down in his golf career. His personal life was also no help in his career. Daly had to undergo rehab treatment for his addictions to gambling and alcohol. He was often caught in trouble for his inappropriate behavior on the course, resulting in suspension.

After rehab, he won his first sober tournament in 1994 at BellSouth Classic. Even though he was trying hard to be off the alcohol, he was still in the struggling phase. But now, the time has come when he has the opportunity to redeem himself. It might be a big comeback for Daly. Let’s wait and watch.
