Tiger Woods had considered the 28-year-old Bryson DeChambeau as one of the promising players among the young golfers. He has often talked highly of the young golfer and his techniques. However, the Mad Scientist of golf had recently revealed that the golf legend hasn’t talked to him since he joined the LIV Golf.

DeChambeau revealed the update about his and Woods’ relationship during the press meeting ahead of the third LIV Series event held in Bedminster. The news spread like wildfire on the Internet, and many from the golf world reacted to it.

Notably, many Tour fans didn’t sympathize with the young golfer and expressed their point of view on Twitter. In fact, the wife of a PGA Tour veteran chose it as a chance to bring out another failure of the golfer.

The Tour veteran’s wife mocked DeChambeau online!

“And here’s another truth for you @b_dechambeau,” Julie Crenshaw, the wife of Ben Crenshaw, wrote“You tried to tell my husband how you put Augusta greens. He was kind enough to listen to your BS.” “He’s got 2 jackets you have 0,” her comment further read. “Next time maybe you should do more listening but then again your tee times at Augusta are numbered.”

Crenshaw revealed the story as a comment on a Twitter post that shared the new change in Woods and DeChambeau’s relationship. Notably, she has since deleted the comment and her profile from Twitter.

Ben Crenshaw is a 70-year-old golfer who has won 25+ championship titles worldwide, including 2 majors. Like his wife mentioned in the comment, the PGA Tour veteran won two majors at the Augusta National, one in 1984 and another in 1995.

Has Bryson DeChambeau ever won a major tournament?

Turned professional in 2016, Bryson DeChambeau has won 10 championship titles worldwide. Notably, one of his wins was at the U. S. Open, one of the four major tournaments of men’s golf.

However, as Julie Crenshaw suggested, there is a chance that he wouldn’t be able to play many majors in the future. The OWGR points are a must for a player if he wants to play in the majors unless one is a former champion and has earned exemption.

The LIV Golf Invitational Series DeChambeau plays now doesn’t offer OWGR points. On top of that, the PGA Tour, which offers OWGR points, has suspended all the LIV players for joining the rival league.

As a winner of the 2020 U. S. Open, DeChambeau can now play in the majors. And if the suspension doesn’t get lifted and the LIV Golf Series don’t get OWGR accreditation, he wouldn’t be able to play in many majors for a long time.
