World No.1 Novak Djokovic is currently in Zadar, Croatia, and has reached the finals of his exhibition tournament, the Adria Tour. On Saturday the Serb first beat Pedja Krstin and then he beat Croatian Borna Coric to seal his place in the finals. The World No.1 also has been playing other sports like basketball. Moreover, he is challenging and collaborating with other sports stars.
Djokovic yesterday posted a video challenge to NBA star Lebron James. The video garnered a huge response from fans and Croatian player Ivo Karlovic posted a cheeky reply on Instagram.
“Novak Djokovic you’re ready to get dunked on” – Ivo Karlovic.

Karlovic like his aces was razor-sharp with that comment and fans loved it.

After his last match of the day, Djokovic answered and talked to the Croatian crowd. He was asked about Karlovic’s comment and the Serbian gave a funny insightful sarcastic reply to the Croatian.
“Well obviously, I’m not better at basketball or tennis than Ivo. Greetings for Karlović, Ivo, we miss you” – said Djokovic.
Karlovic notably has a better head to head record against Novak Djokovic. He leads 2-1 in the head to head.

“Another big thank you. It is a great pleasure for us to be able to play in front of you. Circumstances were unpredictable, a lot of suffering, a lot of uncertainty. I hope to see you tomorrow.” he said while thanking the crowd.
The former World No. 14 Ivo is regarded as the best server in tennis. He is tall and a very fast and accurate server and holds the record for the most aces in tennis history with 13,588 aces. The highlight of his career will be the 2005 Davis Cup where he was part of the winning Croatian team.

Novak Djokovic is currently organizing and hosting the Adria Tour as part of his charity tour. The first leg was in Belgrade, Serbia, and Dominic Theim was the winner. The second leg is happening now in Zarda, Croatia. The third leg was supposed to take place in Montenegro on 27 and 28th June but was canceled due to the country’s restrictions, the fourth leg will take place in Banja Luka, Bosnia on the 3rd and 4th of July.
Adria tour has helped many players in getting match practice as tennis resumes. Although Djokovic hasn’t given his yes to participation in the US Open.
