Oscar De La Hoya’s comeback is one of the biggest things in the sport right now, and there could be a line of boxers queuing up to face him over some name from the MMA world. However, one name that won’t be facing ‘The Golden Boy’ is the octuple world champion, Manny Pacquiao.
‘Pac-Man’ was the one to dismantle De La Hoya in the latter’s last fight, after which he embraced retirement. While the Golden Boy CEO is once again trying to enter the ring, Pacquiao recalled his fight against De La Hoya.
He took to social media and posted a brief clip of the bout from 2008. In the video, ‘Pac-Man’ landed a couple of combination punches that connected properly and shook ‘The Golden Boy’.

That said, Manny Pacquiao is active in the current ride and is looking for the best challenges out there. He is rumored to return against the undefeated WBO champion Terence Crawford next. Meanwhile, 48-year-old De La Hoya has been out of action for over a decade. So, he may not want to scrap with an active professional boxer.
