While speaking on the GOAT debate in an Instagram video, Nick Kyrgios said, ” [ Roger Federer ] is almost like a Jordan status type.” Kyrgios has made himself unavailable for any tennis tournaments in the wake of the pandemic. He made it clear that he wouldn’t be competing overseas for the rest of 2020.
The Australian also went on to say that he wasn’t surprised with Rafael Nadal‘s performance at the French Open 2020. He stated that he knew something like that would happen since it was Nadal’s “backyard.”
While justifying his view about Roger Federer being the greatest, Nick said, “You look at Federer, he is the most dominant player of all time… He is almost like a Jordan status type, the main guy. He is so dominant on every kind of surface and I think the way he plays the game is something special.”
