It was a tough start to the season for Aaron Hicks. He could not perform well, and doubts were raised about his future. Hicks, apart from losing the support of the fans, lost the trust of the management as the New York Yankees released him last month. He was on a seven-year contract with the Yankees but had to leave the club in the fifth year of his $70 million contract. As the 33-year-old moved out, fans and his critics were happy seeing him go.

But now everything has become realistically different for the experienced left fielder. With a move to Baltimore, he has found his lost self and hitting prowess. With continued outstanding performances, Hicks has not only impressed his critics but also has all the support from fans. Given that it was another day of his brilliant hitting against the Kansas City Royals, Hicks found another round of applause from the baseball fans.

Hicks played another great game of the season, putting the decision of his DFA under question. The ex-Yankees star, proving to be a noteworthy addition to the Orioles, continued his hitting form with an RBI contribution to the winning cause. The Baltimore Orioles shared a video from the latest game. It read, “Did you order something? Because Hicks just delivered.”

Notably, Hicks finished the game with an average of 0.500 and an OPS of 1.600. In the last six outings, he has scored three runs and has three RBIs to his name. He is averaging 0.345 and has an OPS of over 1.000. Given that it was another brilliant game for the Orioles’ fans, they also shared their opinion.
