When one is in the public eye, it’s next to impossible to keep their private life actually private. No matter what their field, if people are interested in one aspect of their life, they’ll be interested in others. But some popular personalities still handle the media attention well, without caving under the pressure. And baseball superstar Aaron Judge has managed exactly that.

The newest Yankees captain made MLB history when he broke Roger Maris’ home run record for a single season in 2022. Last set in 1961 and held for 61 years, Judge hit his 62nd homer on October 4th, 2022. And as impressive as his own career has been so far, his wife is as accomplished in her own field. Despite not playing baseball herself, Samantha Bracksieck has an interesting connection to the game.

Back in 2017, Fresno State College of Human and Health Services commemorated a project that Bracksieck did. Interestingly, the subject was called “Posterior Elbow Angle During the Movement Phase of Throwing in Relation to the Susceptibility of UCL Injury in Major League Baseball Players”. Bracksieck studied kinesiology in college. As part of her master’s thesis, she researched elbow ligament injuries in Major League Baseball.

Notably, both Judge and Bracksieck went to Fresno State. While the Yankees outfielder was the star player of the Fresno State Bulldogs, his wife studied the mechanics of body movements.

The two are rarely active on social media but make regular public appearances otherwise. While Bracksieck usually cheers Judge on at his games, the couple also enjoys watching other sports.

The couple has an incredibly sparse social media presence, even if they make frequent public appearances together. However, Bracksieck appeared in a post on Judge’s Instagram as early as 2014. Apparently, the two met in high school and stayed together throughout college. The partners got married in December 2021 in Maui, Hawaii, in a private ceremony. Several of Judge’s Yankees teammates were also in attendance, in addition to other friends and family.
