Blue Jays fail to hit and lose out against the Tigers

It was the second game of the series between the Blue Jays and the Tigers. With a comfortable win last time out, the Jays looked to win it and the series before the All-Star break. But to their surprise, the Tigers were well prepared this time and did not give them any opportunity to score even a single run.

Jomboy Media shared a Twitter post of a moment concluding the game. It read, “The Tigers no-hit the Blue Jays!” There were a few star players who stole the show for Tigers.

Notably, for the Tigers, Matt Manning was the star performer. He pitched in 6.2 innings and claimed five strikeouts. His contribution to the mound helped his teammates on the plate. With the help of Riley Green and Spencer Torkelson, the Tigers put in two runs to win this game. It was their second win in five games, which put them in great shape before the final contest of this half.
