After the infamous breakup, multiple sources reported that A-Rod tried various times to get back together with JLo. He did so by flying to LA to meet and talk to her. At the time, Fox News reported that the couple had wanted to stay together “to make their kids happy.” 

It was because, during the four years of their relationship, all four kids had built a close-knit bond.

How did A-Rod and JLo meet?

Dating back to the late 1990s, the former Yankee met Jennifer Lopez as her fan. Back then, he also had a picture signed by her. It was the first time that they had met, and it was merely a celebrity-fan moment. But, after that, in 2005, when JLo was married to Marc Anthony and A-Rod to Cynthia Scurtis, they met at the Yankee Stadium. But since they were married at the time, nothing happened between the two.
