A dental clinic in Japan, called Kamimura Dental Orthodontic Clinic, just shared a refurbished corner of their cafe area. The dentist’s space is located in Koshigaya, Saitama Prefecture. The hospital’s official Twitter shared a before and after post of the area’s transformation. In addition to Ohtani’s pictures in various baseball poses, the walls are decked in red to honor the Los Angeles Angels colors.

The walls also feature his jersey no. 17 in its full-sized glory. Also peppering them are Angels’ stickers with the team’s official logo seen here and there. The decorator also decided to put together a section that says Shohei Ohtani Showtime (or Shotime – Ohtani’s official nickname). Since he was born in 1994, the wall says 1994-2023, along with some writing below it.

Talking about his game, during Sunday’s Angels vs Brewers game, Ohtani proved yet again why he deserves all the fan appreciation. The LA team took home the win 3-0 but the highlight of the whole day was Shotime’s 413-foot home run. Brewers pitcher Colin Rea was left standing open-mouthed as he watched the ball, as was everyone else. As soon as the bat connected, fans knew it was a goner. Deep into center field, the ball had a hang time of 6.98 seconds and an exit velocity of 114.3 mph.
