It happened when two prized players, Carlos Rodon and Willie Calhoun, were involved in an unfortunate incident before the game. Given that the team is already short on players, this could have increased the woes of struggling Pinstripes.

The incident did not damage the Yankees but was shocking for fans. As it involved one of the new signings, Carlos, who is yet to play a single game, fans could not hold their emotions back. While focusing on the unbelievable incident, they gave theories to justify their criticism of the former White Sox.

Yankees preseason signing Carlos Rodon was involved in an incident before the game. Journalist Max Goodman shared a video of the same incident. It read, “During Carlos Rod?n?s live session, Willie Calhoun got hit by a pitch. He went straight into the clubhouse, visibly in pain.

Carlos Rodon has not played a single game for the Yankees since signing a six-year contract. His absence has frustrated the fans who wanted a $162 million signing to play more games. Given that Rodon has not added value to the team, support from the fans is declining for the player. Had his pitch done more damage to the team, it could have added more to the pressure he is under right now.
