With Pujols having a multi-homer game, the Cardinals crushed the Dodgers 11-0 in an offensive masterclass.

When talking about Pujols’ 700th home run ball, the fan who grabbed the historic ball reportedly did not return to the Cardinals or Pujols. Instead, he preferred to keep the historic ball to himself.

“He has the bat, the jersey, the hat, etc. He said it’s up to the fan if they want to keep it or give it to him. But he has no problem if he keeps it,” Durate conveyed Pujols’ words.

Taking to Twitter, ace MLB analyst Ben Verlander also confirmed the same. Verlander also confirmed that the fan who caught the 700th home run ball refused to return the home-run ball at any cost.

“He was approached. Offers were presented. Then left the stadium with the ball. At least for now… He’s holding on to the prized possession,” Verlander tweeted.

How much is Pujols’ 700th home run ball worth?

Per a special report in Fox Business, Albert Pujols’ 700th home-run ball is worth just only $100,000. On the other hand, Aaron Judge’s 62nd home-run ball is worth around a whopping $2.5 million. Notably, it is just an assumption.
