Can the Yankees icon Alex ‘A-Rod’ Rodriguez make anyone feel bad about his looks? A-Rod’s fans certainly thought so when they compared his looks to his ex-wife’s then-beau Laszlo Fazekas.

 The athlete’s ex-wife, Cynthia Scurtis, filed for divorce from him in 2008. The next year of their divorce, Cynthia got spotted with her mystery fan, and as soon as her pictures got posted by ‘The Palm Beach Post’, A-Rod’s fans started comparing Laszlo and Alex’s looks.

Fazekas, who is a real estate investor and accountant, found those comparisons online and obviously did not like them. 

Fazekas did not like being compared to Alex Rodriguez

The real estate agent had grief coming his way for no reason from Rodriguez‘s fans, and he did not stay silent as well.

“I saw online that folks are comparing me with Alex. That’s ridiculous,” he said. Furthermore, he added, “I don’t care what people say. I’m physically fit, and I know I’m not bad looking.”

Not caring what people say about you is already a huge task. And doing so while having the internet bully you is even harder.

Fazekas has said that he and his daughter and Cynthia-Alex’s daughters used to hang out, and they enjoyed it as well.

Why did Alex and Cynthia break up?

There are ups and downs in every relationship, and it takes one’s limit to cross when one decides to end a marriage. The reason stated behind the separation of Scurtis and Rodriguez was Alex’s extramarital affairs and other marital misconduct.

Cynthia accused the athlete of having an affair with the ‘Queen of Pop’ Madonna. The former couple engaged in a private negotiation and was a personal family matter for both of them. Every decision that they made at the time was based on keeping their daughters’ interests in mind.
