Since retiring from baseball, Alex Rodriguez has established himself in the business world. But he would not be able to manage all of his different ventures without people he trusts. Most recently, the Yankees legend revealed a golden rule that he follows while hiring top executives. Rodriguez will always visit the house of a person he’s considering for a high role. During the session, Rodriguez said, “I’ll never hire someone at a really high executive level without visiting their home. Now, I’ve made the mistake once that I hired someone that’s no longer with us. I’m not gonna mention the name. But a few months after I hired them for this big job, I went to their house, and the house was a slob. It was a mess; it was a disaster. And, if I would’ve visited the house first, I would’ve never hired that person.”

Alex Rodriguez takes three weeks to a month off every year and travels to Europe. The former Yankees legend has been doing so for the past 3 years in order to relax and enjoy a holiday. During that time, he focuses on only two things, the Minnesota Timberwolves, and his real estate ventures. Other than that, he puts his other ventures to the side and enjoys his break. This is possible because A-Rod has full control of his schedule and the right people around him.
