This means it’s even harder for individuals to make it big unless they have something unique. And the baseball world has lately discovered this the hard way.

On Feb. 10th, MLB player Justin Bour announced his retirement. After a six-year career in the big leagues, and some additional short stints in minor and international leagues, the 34-year-old is hanging up his uniform. Bour has played for big names like the Miami Marlins, Philadelphia Phillies, and Nippon Professional Baseball in his repertoire.
