The singer seemed to be sitting in what looked like a recording studio when she got asked, “would you ever do a duet with JLo?” Giving it a thought of less than a second, the singer replied, “a duet? I mean, I’m not sure how that would sound.”

And yet again, the feud continued with Carey throwing shade over her bitter rival, Jennifer Lopez. Since then, there have been many instances where the two singers have said such bitter words about each other or made headlines with their ambiguous actions. How did Lopez and Rodriguez meet for the first time?

Before the ex-couple’s coincidental run in 2017, they had met earlier in 2005. During her visit to the Shea Stadium in Queens, NYC, Lopez with then-husband Marc Anthony had met A-Rod during a Mets vs Yankees game. About her first meeting with Rodriguez, she has said that with the handshake she had felt a spark between the two.
