Aaron Judge bullish about the New York Yankees

Acknowledging the fact that it was different every year, Aaron Judge just felt like this roster was special. He iterated, “That’s the thing, each year is so different.”

The Yankees have seen some stunning offensive and defensive displays to ensure top performance in their division, and Aaron Judge was all too aware of this. “Each year you come in and you have a good feeling about the squad,” he added, “But this year I feel like we have a good mix of everything.”

They say that an offense may win games, but it’s the defense that wins you the titles. A premise that the Yankees have proven to be all too true in 2022. Judge too was quick to acknowledge how he saw it. Judge said, “We got about three or four aces in our starting rotation and our bullpen. I wouldn’t want to face them,” with a grin and a light chuckle. “I’m glad we got a lot of those guys down there on our side.”

Looking to the season ahead, the Yankees will look to build and grow as the season progresses. Fans will be holding out for the Bronx’s first silverware since 2009, but until then Judge is concentrating on the ‘now’. Judge stated, “I just think we’re a complete team and we have fun doing it.”
