Conor McGregor was supremely confident ahead of his rematch against Dustin Poirier. The former two-division world champion stated that he would end the fight within 60 seconds. While ‘Mystic Mac’ has been accurate with his predictions more often than not, this time around ‘The Notorious’ got it extremely wrong.
The Irish fighter was stopped in the second round of the fight by ‘The Diamond’ to even the scores at one win apiece. Conor McGregor has only ever had one rematch in his entire career. It was at UFC 202, where he faced Nate Diaz.
If his performance in a rematch against Nate Diaz is anything to go by, fans are in for a treat only July 10th.
