It’s not always easy to decode what he says. But ‘Tony Ferguson Translator’ (aka @CSO_Translator), decrypted the tweet. “Translation: becoming stronger than Dustin Poirier. Boys, keep that energy up. Training with my dog.”
‘El Cucuy‘ is currently dealing with a torrid time inside the octagon. As mentioned, he has lost his last 3 matches against top fighters of the lightweight division. First, he had a grueling encounter against Justin Gaethje at UFC 249 for the interim lightweight title.
In his next fight, he fought against the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu machine, Charles ‘Do Bronx’ Oliveira, at UFC 256. The latter produced a grappling masterclass to outclass ‘El Cucuy’.
His last match was against another grappling specialist in Beneil Dariush. UFC 262 proved to be yet another disappointing outing for Ferguson, who didn’t threaten whatsoever.
