Khabib Nurmagomedov is enjoying his life as a retired athlete at the moment. ‘The Eagle’ hung up his gloves after a dominant win over Justin Gaethje last October and has since spent the majority of his time enjoying pursuits outside the sport of MMA.
Nurmagomedov was recently spotted in the United Kingdom where he was invited to speak as a guest at the Arnold Sports Festival. It was at the same event where Nurmagomedov was playfully choked out by Georges St-Pierre as the ‘Rush’ surprised his fellow MMA legend on stage.
Following his obligations, ‘The Eagle’ took out time to enjoy a sport he loves more than MMA itself. The former lightweight champion was spotted at the Old Trafford stadium. ‘The Eagle’ was in attendance for a Premier League clash between Everton and Manchester United.

Manchester United’s account posted a picture of legendary manager Sir Alex Ferguson standing alongside club-legend Patrice Evra, Usain Bolt, and Khabib Nurmagomedov. ‘The Eagle’ also posted a photo on Instagram with Sir Alex Ferguson with the caption, “it was a great honor to speak with a Legend.”
