Harrison is perhaps the biggest name to not feature inside the octagon. The Judoka has achieved quite a bit of fame and success in martial arts even before her debut in the biggest MMA promotion in the world. Currently, she is applying her trade for PFL and would soon fight Taylor Guardado for the $1 million prize money.
Cormier showed his appreciation for the undefeated fighter and said, “There’s no one like Kayla Harrison. Nobody has what she has… whether it’s Cris Cyborg, whether it’s Amanda Nunes. I don’t know who in the world can beat Kayla Harrison right now. I’m not confident to say she’s losing to anyone.”

Harrison has certainly been miles ahead of her competitors. The judoka is yet to face defeat and has raced to an 11-0 win-loss record since starting in June 2018. She recently defeated Genah Fabian in the semifinals of the PFL women’s lightweight tournament at PFL 8.
Kayla Harrison is chasing Amanda Nunes
While Harrison is making raves in PFL, one woman on earth walks around as the greatest female mixed martial artist of all time. It’s none other than the ‘Lioness’ Amanda Nunes. The latter is a UFC two-division champion who has wreaked havoc in the promotion since starting out in 2013.
The Brazilian has dominated every female fighter, including Ronda Rousey, Miesha Tate, and UFC flyweight champion, Valentina Shevchenko. She is yet to find her match in a long time. Most fans believe Harrison could be the one to take down the ‘Lioness’. But the former knows how great the Brazilian is and just wants to grow more before taking her head-on.
