Ever since he started his career as a professional fighter, Jake Paul has been a staunch advocate for fighter pay. While his primary target for the same has been Dana White and the UFC, his goal is to increase fighter pay across both UFC and boxing. While many see this as a gimmick, ‘The Problem Child’ states that it is a genuine cause-one that he is extremely passionate about.
‘The Problem Child’ continued, “Or in the case of the UFC, it is really a monopoly where Dana White controls these guy’s careers and can make whatever fights happen. And pay whoever he wants whatever they want, or pay them nothing…What is crazy about it is the UFC the fighters get paid only 10% of the total amount of the money that’s earned. Whereas in the NBA it’s 50%. The NFL it’s 50%. Meanwhile, you have Dana White going on Twitter talking about how he spent $7 million on a blackjack hand and lost it or whatever. Meanwhile, his fighters are starting go fund me pages.

This weekend, Paul will take on his biggest test to date in Tyron Woodley. The fight will also be his debut on the Showtime network after signing a multi-fight deal with the broadcasting juggernaut. It is reported that Paul took a hit on his purse for the fight to ensure that every other fighter on the card gets compensated adequately.
