Days After He Came to Rick Hendrick’s Rescue, Josh Berry’s Latest Update Soars Kevin Harvick Rumors to an All-Time High

Josh Berry’s remarkable contributions to Hendrick Motorsports during Chase Elliott‘s injury are well-known. As he showcased his incredible talent on the track during his few races, he also patiently awaited the recognition he merited.

Fortunately, a few influential individuals took note of his performance. And now a recent revelation brought Berry into the spotlight. With this, the 32-year-old also ignited some major Kevin Harvick rumors among fans, who had some interesting takes on the possibility.

A massive update for Josh Berry is in the works

After standing in for Chase Elliott, after his snowboarding incident, and more recently for Alex Bowman, post the ‘Bent Like a Banana‘ incident, Berry, a full-time NASCAR Xfinity Series driver managed to get three top 10 finishes, while also coming quite close to his first Cup win at Richmond Raceway. In light of this, the newest update from Adam Stern didn’t come as a surprise to the fans. However, it did get them talking.

Stern took to Twitter to report, @JoshBerry is finalizing a long-term management deal with @KHIManagement, @KevinHarvick’s agency, per sources.”

“Berry has become a highly rated driver in @NASCAR in part through a super-sub role he’s played with Hendrick Motorsports this year.” 

 

 

Fans were elated after Josh Berry’s update fueled Kevin Harvick rumors

Upon the revelation of Berry’s contract, a common speculation emerged among enthusiasts. With Harvick’s anticipated retirement at the conclusion of the 2023 season, numerous fans conjectured that Berry might be the chosen successor to take the wheel of the #4 car.

Additionally, others pointed out the potential for Berry to secure a spot in the Cars Tour, an event co-owned by Harvick himself.

Meanwhile, one fan pondered, “Wait a second… JR and Harvick are co-owners of the Cars tour. Maybe, just maybe… this is a long shot, but could Kevin and JR be buying a charter together for him?”

Another fan chimed in, “Josh Berry is the next Greg Biffle. Biffle was 32 when he joined the cup series in 2003.”
Another fan suggested, “4 car bound.”
“I said this last week. He’s taking over the 4 car next year. He and Rodney [Childers] would be awesome together considering they’re both true blood racers.”
Finally, another fan speculated, “I think he takes over the 4-cup car, that’s what it may be sounding like.”

Regardless of where he gets a ride, it is evident that Berry has a considerable amount of talent behind the wheel. So even if he lands in the rumored #4 car, we know he would perhaps perform well there. Also, if he lands in the Cars Tour, he can continue proving his merit out there.
