Wurth 400 at Dover International Speedway was an eventful race, if we ever saw one! With the ‘Watermelon Man’ Ross Chastain playing the antagonist, seemingly wrecking 2 drivers including the HMS ace, Kyle Larson, the NASCAR community is furious over the #1 driver’s action as they display their frustrations.

Similar to his Talladega run, the Hendrick Motorsports speedster fell victim to yet another wreck. This time, it’s Chastain who initiated the tussle when he pushed the #15 Ford Mustang of Brennan Poole before the #5 ran into it.

This isn’t something new from the #1 driver, though. A couple of months back, Chastain was also going back and forth with Joe Gibbs Racing’s Denny Hamlin. They bumped each other causing all kinds of havoc on the track. This, however, ended with Hamlin receiving the organization’s wrath while Chastain slipped away seamlessly.

After countless such acts from the Trackhouse Racing driver, the NASCAR community is yet again furious over the recent incident!

Kyle Larson’s Dover run falls short as Ross Chastain sets a trap for him using another driver!

Despite, the #1 driver apologizing and claiming responsibility for the chaos at Dover, fans did not take it lightly. Many came out to slam the driver for his unorthodox ways and the ever-so-aggressive style of racing.

The incident occurred at Stage 1 during lap 81 when Chastain in an effort to gain places, bumped Poole, causing the Rick Ware Racing driver to lose control of the car and slam into an unsuspecting Larson.

Clearly, the community felt Larson’s frustration as he vividly expressed his displeasure on the radio saying, “What a f***king idiot!” Naturally, Poole too was left frustrated after the incident, as per NASCAR NBC Sports, he said, “It seems to be something (Chatain) does a lot recently. Just uncalled for. It was my first time in a new Cup car, and 80 laps out… for what?”

The community also felt the frustration as Larson and Poole got ‘chastained’ while the #1 driver slipped away finishing second in the race.

Soon after the race, fans and NASCAR pundits took it to social media, sharing their disappointment while pointing out the unjust incident.

Well, fans did not hesitate to call out Ross Chastain for his petty move, wrecking both Poole and Larson. While Poole was racing his first-ever Cup Series race since 2020, Chastain put an end to his dreams when he pushed him from behind.

Looking at this and his history with Hamlin, NASCAR fans called the Trackhouse racing driver out publically! And starting off it was popular host and SiriusXM NASCAR host, Danielle Trotta.

Soon more enthusiasts including the JGR crew chief, Chris Gabehart, who has had enough of Chastain’s drama, lauded Trotta’s tweet. Supporting her as he wrote, “Is it possible to like a Tweet more than once?”

While Freddie Kraft and Brett Griffin had a witty response to the JGR crew chief.

Kraft wrote, “Probably. But it’ll cost $8.”

Whereas Brett Griffin said, “I’ll lend him $8.”

The rant doesn’t stop there as angry fans too jumped on board, sharing their thoughts.

While another fan praised the host, “Thank you Danielle!!! Read my mind!”

Despite, Ross Chastain apologizing to his fellow driver in the post-race interview, it looks like the community is still mad about the incident.
